Merit - Serve Others

“When we serve others we gain more hope. We gain energy.” – Margaret Wheatley

When we started on this journey a few years back, it was never about making money. Never eva Eva Eva evaa Evaaaa.

Our mission and vision started in a much deeper realm. Our beliefs started on the principle that all our lives are so wonderfully connected, woven, and intertwined with the lives and contributions of others. We simply wanted to make people happy. We simply wanted to make things better. Communities better. People better. We wanted to make ourselves better.

And we felt strongly that we could accomplish our goals by creating a lifestyle brand. IMU. A commitment to make people feel special while serving our customers and community.

Some time has passed, but today, we feel the same way we felt a few years ago. The same exact way. The same exact thirst and hunger is here. Leading us. Guiding us.

There’s something burning in our hearts to show our young generation something different. There’s a fire raging inside us to establish something that is consistently and firmly rooted in goodness. Goodness can change things. Goodness makes people happy. Because at the end of the day, this is bigger than us…

Just so happens now, we are better prepared to deliver.

This generation needs our help. Needs someone to talk to. Needs someone to look up to. Needs someone to lend a hand. Needs someone to care. Needs someone to care consistently. Needs someone to be there. Needs someone to be there consistently. Needs someone to show them the way. Needs someone to lean on. Needs someone’s shoulder. Needs someone to listen.

A generation that needs many of us to stop what we are doing. To stop thinking about our own well-being. To realize that our own well-being is tied into the entire generation’s well-being.

We just feel that if we can build enough someone’s, some things will take care of themselves.

Thomas Edison once said, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is often dressed in overalls and looks like work.” The overalls were ordered a long time ago. Let’s get to work.
